Tango

When people speak of Tango, they are normally referring to the ballroom style Tango, which is more 'theatrical' in its exaggerated staccato movements than the Argentine Tango.

Developed from Argentine Tango, and made famous by Hollywood (and Rudolph Valentino in particular), the Ballroom Tango has become a very popular social and competition dance style.

Full of sharp and quick start stop movements, Tango is danced low down with knees bent without any rise or falls.
